As United Through Reading works to bridge distances and connect service members with their families at home, we have enjoyed the many times over the last 25 years that our beneficiaries invited us into their homes and shared their special moments and their cherished recordings with us.
UTR families live all over the world and these moments are often shared in the form of photos. Now, we’re asking you to do the same. We want to see your family United Through Reading! Snap a photo of your family watching their UTR video and post it on Facebook or Twitter telling us why you love UTR.
Service members recording from far and away, you should participate too! Send a photo of you recording your UTR video on base or at sea, and your family will receive a free children’s book too!
Remember, after sharing your photo with us, send your address to stories@utr.org, or in a Facebook message so we can ensure you receive your free book. Books are limited to one per household, and picture must be shared between September 25 and October 24, 2014.
