Navy Federal Credit Union becomes a host site for United Through Reading’s Military Program

April 12, 2014

Navy Federal Credit UnionNavy Federal Credit Union has launched United Through Reading recording sites at two of the credit union’s branches – Crystal City, VA and Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan.

Participating branches will supply books and a private area for service members to video record a reading and a personal message. The book and DVD will then be given to the service member to send home to loved ones.

Navy Federal has been a United Through Reading sponsor since 2001. The expansion of the partnership between Navy Federal and United Through Reading to include recording sites marks the first time that a sponsor has hosted United Through Reading’s program within their business locations.

We’re deeply grateful to Navy Federal for expanding United Through Reading’s opportunity to serve military members who are separated from their families due to deployment, duty, divorce, training missions and unaccompanied tours!
