Sponsors

United Through Reading is extremely grateful for the generous support of the following corporate sponsors.

TargetTarget partners with organizations and programs that assist students with educational needs and encourage parents to be better advocates. Since 2005, Target has been a community advocate for United Through Reading’s Military Program by providing funding, in-kind support, and media opportunities.

Target’s funding allowed us to expand our reach into the Army by hiring a National Army Program Manager. In-kind support has led to great things for our military families.

Target has provided Starter Kits for deployed commands. Each holiday season, Target has featured a ‘support our troops’ ornament with proceeds directly benefiting our troops. Target was the title sponsor for our first annual Storybook Ball. Media opportunities include extensive coverage with Oprah, Kellogg’s and the Face Book Super Love Sender campaign.

BAE SystemsUnited Through Reading is proud to partner with BAE Systems to provide deployed servicemen and women the opportunity to be recorded on DVD reading storybooks to their children at home. This organization’s support of United Through Reading began in 2009 with major sponsorship of the Storybook Ball and with the addition of Douglas Stewart, VP, Legislative Affairs for BAE Systems, Inc. to the United Through Reading Board of Trustees.

Doug is the Chair of the United Through Reading Marketing Committee and is actively involved in creating awareness for United Through Reading in Washington, DC. In 2010, BAE Systems became a major supporter of the United Through Reading Military Program with a contribution of $150,000.

BAE Systems, Inc. is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia and has two sectors organized around a combination of the company's diverse products and services. BAE Systems is active in each of our seven home markets - Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, UK and the US.

United Through Reading is honored to be supported by BAE Systems and humbled by their lasting commitment to our men and women in uniform.
