In 2015, United Through Reading sent 22,000 video recordings home to military children, worked with more than 500 volunteers, explored internet-based recording options, operated more than 260 UTR recording locations around the globe, connected nearly 100,000 military family members, started dreaming of a UTR mobile app, and was awarded the 2015 American Prize of the Library of Congress Literacy Awards Program.
